Uh-huh is used to show that you agree or understand.
e.g. "Is that your dog?" "Uh-huh." (yeah, yes)
"Do you know what I mean?" "Uh-huh. I sure do."
Note: Uh-huh is sometimes used to encourage someone to continue talking.
e.g. "I'm still kind of worried about tomorrow." "Uh-huh."
